As a child, it became clear that I have a knack for languages. Something not everyone is blessed with. This comes to show by the many websites and social media profiles that focus entirely on textual errors or translation errors. Of course, texts gain publicity through those websites. And there is no such thing as bad publicity, right? I beg to differ. The goal of these websites is to entertain their readers. The meaning of words and sentences changes often because of the mistakes they contain. This is why these texts often becomes hilarious which most likely isn’t the initial text goal.
Not only do I have the right set of skills, I also have the appropriate degrees in order to write beautiful texts and translations. I have a bachelor's degree in Theater, Film and Television Studies. In addition, I also have two Master's degrees. I have a Master in Scriptwriting for Screen and Radio from Aberystwyth University and a Master in Translation Studies from Utrecht University. I have been sworn in as a translator by the court in Utrecht. Therefore, I am also qualified to provide sworn translations from English to Dutch.
